Position: Database and System Administrator
Report to: Group ERP Manager and IT Manager in China
Location: Beijing or Shanghai

1. Mission
2. Analyze, design and implement IT business solutions using ERP, BI and CRM systems
3. Apply problem-solving skills to actively support business needs and requirements on issues related to the use, design & development of IT business solutions
4. Be part of a small international team located at Sofia supporting multiple worldwide ERP locations and users
5. Keep database up to date
6. Responsible for database design and development
7. Design maintenance procedure and unsure there operation
8. Manage database security, integrity and backup procedure
9. testing and modifying databases to ensure that they operate reliably
10. Archiving data
11. Manage application interfaces
12. Manage batch application and scheduler application

Main tasks:
1. Daily follow-up of application interfaces;
2. Ensure regular check on database integrity and apply necessary modification
3. Develop and implement system scripts
4. Ensure backup integrity
5. Ensure database good performance
6. Participate to database development and design together with ERP application engineers

Profile:
1. Candidates must be patient, meticulous and logical in their work and capable of prioritizing tasks. Good problem solving, analytical, administrative, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are also important.
2. Familiarity with computer operating systems and database technology (design, software and structure) is essential. Technical expertise and previous computer industry work experience is necessary.
3. Knowledge on Progress Open Edge database
4. Knowledge on SQL database
5. Knowledge on .Net, XML, Tomcat is a plus
6. English (French is a plus)
